NON-CLASS HEALING ABILITIES
Many healing skills, buffs and debuffs are unlocked in the weapon, guild, and alliance war skill lines. This list of skills used by healers and a brief description of what they do and how they are used.
Healers like tanks need a large number of skill points as they need to unlock and have access to a large variety of skills that needed situationally. Please consider that some skills may only be needed by one support player so communication and coordination with the group on skills like gear, is important.
ILLUSTRIOUS HEALING

Restoration Staff Line
A ground heal over time (HOT) that lasts 12 seconds and heals all group members within its radius. Only one illustrious healing can only be cast per player at a time do not spam it. This is generally the preferred morph as it stronger healing and longer duration, the other morph restores magick for each target healed and is useful if you are having sustain issues.
COMBAT PRAYER
Morph of Blessing of Protection
Restoration Staff Line
This is the restoration staff equivalent to a spamable applies a small heal and minor berserk and minor resolve for 8 seconds. It only applies to 6 targets so is general used by both healers and prioritises who get heal based on missing health. But the reason it is a must-have is the minor berserk buff increasing damage done by 5% the heal is an added bonus.
RADIATING REGENERATION

Restoration Staff Line
A large HOT healing 3 allies over 10 seconds.
Not often used in trials but is a healing staple in all other content due to the size of the heal.
HEALING WARD

Restoration Staff skill line
Applies a shield to the lowest health ally including yourself and heals based on the strength of the wounds. While the shield lasts the target is healed for 33% of the shield's remaining strength every second.
This skill is used situational in trials and in generally used in conjunction with the Blackrose Prison Restoration staff which adds 30% healing taken to the target. Used in healing ice cages in vet sunspire.
ELEMENTAL BLOCKADE

Destruction Staff Line
This is an AOE damage ability, but the damage to a healer is just a nice bonus we use it because it applies the status effect of the staff type. Lightening applies off-balance to concussed enemies increasing the target's damage taken, an ice staff applies chilled and brittle to a target increasing the targets critical damage taken and the inferno staff applies burning.
This ability is a must-have in PVE for any healer. The type of staff used will depend on your group but lighting is the most common destruction staff used by a healer as most DPS run inferno and the concussed debuff is much desired. That said Ice and inferno staff are used on certain builds.
ELEMENTAL DRAIN
Morph of Weakness to Elements
Destruction Staff Line
No cost skill that applies minor magicka steal and major breach to the target for 23 seconds, restoring magicka per second that the target is being damaged and reducing their resistances.
I must have unlocked skills general one (1) support will run thin in the group, can be replaced by the templar class ability Radiant Aura that applies AOE magicka steal but only if major breach debuff is being applied by another group member such as a Tank taunting with Pierced Armor.
ENERGY ORB
Morph of Necrotic Orb
Undaunted skill
Heals all group members within 8m radius and can be synergised restoring magicka or stamina which eve pool is higher.
A must-have skill one of the strongest heals in the game paired with resources is cast every 10 seconds generally.
OVERFLOWING ALTER
Morph of Blood Alter
Undaunted skill
Applies minor life steal to enemies within 28m and heals you and your group members and provides a synergy which upon activation healths 65% of the targets max health. Handy passive health providing synergyies for the DPS.
BONE SURGE
Morph of Bone Shield
Undaunted skill
You gain a damage shield that absorbs up to 2798 damage for 6 seconds. This ability scales off you max health. An ally near you can activate a synergy granting them and up to 5 other allies a damage shield which absorbs up to 30% of their max health for 6 seconds and granting them Major vitality increasing their healing received by 16%. A great skill that provided group ultitily and increases health recovery that is not impacted by healing debuffs. I often use this skill when wearing martial knowledge set as my stamina skill, but also commonly used during Vet Cloudrest to assist healing during Banful Mark.
AGGRESSIVE WAR HORN
Morph of War Horn
Alliance War Assault Skill Line
The must-have ultimate for a healer Applies major force to all group members increase critical damage by 20% and increases magicka and stamina by 10% for 30 seconds.
War horns are generally on rotation in any group content you are watching the buff bar and applying on cooldown calling it out prior to cast to reduce overlap. the critical bonus is so huge you want to maintain 100% uptime whenever possible. In high damage quick burn situations, cats are often on the 10second cool down rather than the 30 seconds.
REVIVING BARRIER

Alliance War Support Skill Line
The most common front bar ultimate for a healer. It's for that moment when things are going wrong as it provided a huge shield to you and 11 other group members for up to 30 seconds and heals the targets.
But is front bared for the Magicka Aid passive under this skill line which increases your magicka recovery by 10% for each support ability slotted. I highly recommend getting this passive if you are running this skill.
EFFICIENT PURGE

Alliance War Support Skill Line
Removes 3 negative effects immediately.
I flex ability used in situations when heavy dots are applied to the team that needs to be purged quick.
This is the pve morph the other morph is used often in pvp as it also applies a heal but is much more expensive.
MYSTIC GUARD

Alliance War Support Skill Line
An infrequently used skill that bonds you to another player. While bonded you take 30% of their damage received and increase your and the ally's healing received with a range of 15m.
Used when the tank has to take huge damage that would otherwise be a one-shot. Commonly used in Vet Sunspire
SIEGE WEAPON SHIELD

Alliance War Support Skill Line
This is a PVP skill only. It reduces the damage to all allies within the bubble from siege weapons by 50% and siege weapons damage from the enemy siege by 75%. A must-have skill for PVP healers while sieging in Cyrodiil
SYMBIOSIS
morph of Mend Wounds
Psijic Order Skill line
Replaces your Light and Heavy Attacks with healing abilities that can be used on allies and restored magicks to you. 50% of the healing done to the ally heals.
This skill is not often used by healers as it is a single target but it is a strong heal based on your spell damage and can be used as a pinch heal. This skill is most often used by DPS.
ECHOING VIGOR

Alliance War skill line
Heals you and your allies within 15m 2330 over 10 seconds.
This is a stamina heal only generally used on a stamina healer as the strength of the heal is based on weapon damage and stamina pool. This is one of the few stamina heals and is generally a but to all stamina healers.
RING OF PRESERVATION

Fighter Guild skill line
A stamina skill, what creates a 5m radius ruin, anyone, within the ruin gets Minor protection 5% damage reduction and minor endurance 20% stamina recovery and is healed for 141 every 0.5 second.
This skill is used mostly in stamina or mixed group compositions at times for the increased stamina recovery the reduced damage and heal are also nice bonus.
